Living in a different culture is an exciting journey, but it can be lonely at times. At Central Assembly you can connect with an American host family and learn about the culture. Host families enjoy a meal together the third Sunday of the month. This semester offers lots of ways to make new friends, including Fridays with Friends, a retreat in Branson, an international women’s event, leadership classes, and a connection group for Japanese friends. We’d love for you to stop by any of these activities and introduce yourself. We’re excited to meet you!
May the Lord bless you and your family,
- PASTORS DAISUKE & YORIKO
Central Assembly has weekly services for the whole family. Services include uplifting contemporary worship, insightful Bible teaching, and an opportunity to connect with God, people and the purpose for your Life. For each service, there are special services geared especially for kids in the nursery, preschool, and elementary. If you Love to sing or play an instrument, you are welcomed to join the choir or the orchestra.
International ladies are welcome to join this group for fellowship and encouragement through monthly devotions.
Central families host international students and build relationships through Host Family Worship on the third Sundays and at home gatherings. Host families can help with adjusting to American culture, give you a glimpse into American family life, offer a great place to practice English, and you’ll have a family to celebrate holidays with during school breaks.
Leadership Lessons From Great Men And Women Of The Bible is a 16-week course that studies the lives of famous men and women in the Bible and how they became great leaders. This class will help you to sharpen your leadership skills and to develop Christ-like character.
